Smart Volution are delighted to announce the arrival of Register handheld, a fully functioning Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) solution that can be run on a wide variety of mobile devices. Register handheld is not a cut down version of Register, it has all the functionality of the tablet sized version and all the benefits of enhanced mobility. This is particularly of benefit to retailers looking to rapidly increase sales points on the shop floor and to assist with queue busting. Retail space can also be optimised as physical till points can potentially be reduced.
As Register handheld is fully functional with payment processing, inventory control and back end reporting, it introduces a new price point for small retailers to embrace all the benefits that MPOS can offer.
Pop-up stores and off-site locations such as festivals will find the offline capabilities of significant benefit. Register Handheld sends data for reporting in real time and can also operate offline when not connected.
Naturally, Register handheld is ideal for ‘at table’ service minimising errors and speeding up order processing. Register handheld supports all functionality including kitchen printing, tab management and modifiers, you can now also take payment on the same device. The backend web portal allows for simple and rapid updates of menu options for food service establishments.
