How to operate a Pub Garden or Outside Café with Register
As Pubs and Café’s start to re-open, establishments will be forced to utilise outside space in order to maximise social distancing and revenue throughput.
Register operating on an all-in-one mobile device is ideally suited to operate a beer garden or outside café area. Register is fully functional in a mobile set up such as on a Pax A920 or Sumni P2 Pro.
Ordering
Easily record orders using Register. Assign them to a table number or automatic order number.
Payment
Take contactless payment direct on the mobile device. Use the SpacePole Payment Paddle from Ergonomic Solutions to keep socially distanced. Cash and regular card payment are also available.
Drink and Food Preparation
As soon as the food and drinks are ordered the items are printed in the bar and kitchen for preparation. You can assign as many printers as you need. For example, you could have a separate printer for draft beer, mixed drinks, pizzas and mains if you wished.
Delivery to customer
How you deliver the order to the customer will depend on your setup. You could simply take it to the table, you might set up a specific delivery table for the customer to collect from and call the table/order number or you might set up a collection point. Register can be easily configured to utilise order or table numbers, a free text tab description or a combination of these.
