Training Mode allows staff to use the Register app in a realistic way without recording those transactions as live sales that need to be refunded. This means new team members can practice the sales process, learn the layout and build confidence without affecting the merchant’s reports.

The feature is controlled through user permissions, so a manager or supervisor can decide who has access to enable it. Once active, the system makes it clear that the device is in Training Mode, including a visible change on screen and wording on printed receipts.

Training Mode also prevents live operational actions such as firing the cash drawer, while still allowing receipts to print for training purposes. This gives staff a safe environment to learn without creating confusion in the live business.
